After falling in love with the Barquentine skirt (via Fieldguided) I decided to try to make something similar to wear this spring. I modified a pattern by Jenny Gordy for Stitch Magazine. This is what I ended up with:

I want one! Or at least, I want to make one just like it! Did you recreate the pattern or just adjust as you went along?

i just eyeballed and adjusted as i went along--i have to admit that i was not very scientific in going about it! do you have this issue of stitch magazine? the pattern is included.
